Strip tillage
A machinery designed and constructed on our lab, it combines two shallow tines followed by two deep subsoiler shafts and gangs of rotating shafts (from a modified rotary cultivator) that cultivate the soil in narrow strips of 25-30 cm and to a depth of 25-30 cm.
It is used for row crops like cotton, corn, sunflower e.t.c. providing 50-70% less soil disturbance leading to soil protection and energy savings. It can be combined with a seeder to provide tillage and seeding on one step.
