Instrumented tractor for measuring the draft forces and the power

Instrumented tractor for measuring the draft forces and the power absorbed through the PTO of agricultural machinery connected to the tractor.

It consists of two metal frames inter-connected with six load cells capable to monitor forces between tractor and instruments on the three dimensions. Fuel consumption and PTO turning velocity and forward speed are monitored with appropriate sensors. Analogue data are streamed to A/D cards and stored in a laptop along with digital data from the sensors.
